IronPillar United Mining Group is proud to announce its official launch, bringing together two respected names in the drilling and mining services industry—Two Eight Southeast and General Drilling—under one unified platform.

A Stronger Platform for Growth

The formation of IronPillar United Mining Group represents the combination of decades of experience, proven expertise, and a shared commitment to safety and quality. Backed by a strategic partnership with Mascarene Partners, along with Fred Webber, owner of General Drilling, and the ownership group of Two Eight Southeast, IronPillar is positioned for long-term growth across the drilling, blasting, and crushing services sectors.

Experienced Leadership

IronPillar United Mining Group will be led by Chief Executive Officer Doug Weible, with Brent Taylor serving as President and Chief Operating Officer. Together with an experienced leadership team drawn from both General Drilling and Two Eight Southeast, they bring a wealth of industry knowledge and operational expertise.

“This is the merger of two great drilling companies into one company. I am honored to be named President and Chief Operating Officer, and even in the first week, I am already seeing the strong synergies between these two legacy companies.”
